ON SITE TESTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR |
|
DOUBLER® |
|
(FOR SERIAL
#'S ABOVE 50,000) |
|
|
Operational test:
(A 24-volt
solenoid may be used instead of a voltmeter) |
|
1.
Connect one side of a 24-volt lead to the White wire from the
Doubler. |
|
2.
Connect the other side of the 24-volt lead to the Black wire from
the Doubler and
switch power on.
|
|
3.
Measure voltage between the White wire and each of the Red
wires. One should
measure 24-volts.
|
|
4.
Switch power to the Doubler off and back on once. |
|
5.
Measure voltage between the White wire and the other Red
wire |
Please note: Every time power is applied to the Doubler it will
alternate between
the
two Red output wires. |
|
6. If
voltage is measured alternately from both Red wires the Doubler is operating
normally.
|
|
7.
Please repeat steps 4 & 5 a few times to ensure the
unit is switching properly every
time.
|
|
| If your unit
is still under warranty and does not
pass these tests, please return it to your distributor or the factory
along with a description of the problem and we will replace it. By
having the defective units returned to us we are better able to improve
future products. |
